Stephanie's Story

The mammograms were negative and the doctors assured me there was nothing to worry about. However, the quarter-sized lump in my right breast turned out to be cancer. My right breast and arm took quite a beating after the lympectomy, lymphadectomy, surgery, radiation and radioactive implants. Over time my breast has again become fairly symmetrical. Now the solid mass on the outer side of my breast and the occasional ache and swelling in my arm remind me how precious each day is. Stephanie
