About the Photographer

Art Myers is a physician specializing in preventive medicine and public health, as well as an established fine art photographer. His medical work and art both focus on underrepresented populations. Dr. Myers graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his post-doctoral degree in public health from the Graduate School of Public Health, San Diego State University. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums in across the United States.

The Kinsey Institute Library is proud to have over 150 prieces of Dr. Myers' work from a number of his photo series, including "Women After Breast Cancer Treatment," "Women Living with HIV," "Women Living in an Urban Rescue Mission" and "Look at Me! NYC."
